This foundational program is designed for dedicated practitioners who seek a deeper understanding of yoga and aspire to become confident, certified teachers. Rooted in the traditions of a classical yoga school, the course integrates the ancient wisdom of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, offering a balanced and comprehensive approach to practice and teaching.

    Accredited by Yoga Alliance, the curriculum meets international standards and provides a holistic learning experience. You’ll explore asana practice, pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, and yogic lifestyle principles, guided by experienced teachers in an environment of spiritual growth and self-transformation.

    Key modules include teaching methodology, alignment and adjustment techniques, anatomy and physiology, and deep studies in yoga philosophy, all structured to support both personal development and teaching competence. Our small group training format ensures individual attention and mentorship throughout your journey.

    Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Varkala’s cliffside beaches, the course is complemented by nature immersion, sunset yoga, and a peaceful Ayurvedic setting. Nourish your body with a sattvic diet and your mind with the sacred energy of Kerala, all while becoming part of a vibrant international student community.

    HOW WE STARTED

     My journey into yoga began in Kerala, where I was born and first introduced to the ancient practice. Over the years, my path led me to some of India’s most respected yoga hubs—Rishikesh, Mysore, and back to Kerala—where I trained deeply in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, and alignment-based traditional methods. Through dedicated practice, I experienced profound personal transformation—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

    As I immersed myself in these traditional teachings, I came to realize their true power—not just as physical discipline, but as a complete way of life. I saw how yoga, in its authentic form, could bring deep inner change and spiritual clarity.

    This realization inspired me to create a space where I could share this wisdom with others, especially aspiring teachers from all over the world. I founded Suneesh School of Yoga to offer Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTC) rooted in classical, traditional yoga, with a strong foundation in philosophy, alignment, breathwork, and self-awareness.

    My vision is to form and guide a new generation of yoga teachers—authentic, grounded, and connected to the essence of yoga. Teachers who carry forward the ancient tradition, not just as a profession, but as a conscious lifestyle and spiritual path.

     Suneesh is a dedicated yoga teacher with over 12 years of practice and experience in the traditional systems of yoga. He specializes in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, and alignment-focused teaching, offering a balanced and authentic approach to both beginners and advanced practitioners.

    His yoga journey began in his home state of Kerala and deepened through extensive studies and training in Rishikesh, Goa, and the renowned yoga hub of Mysore. Suneesh integrates the wisdom of these sacred traditions into his classes, emphasizing mindful movement, breath awareness, and precise posture alignment.

    Known for his calm presence, clarity in instruction, and rooted understanding of yogic philosophy, Suneesh creates a supportive and disciplined space for students to grow both physically and spiritually.

     No. Beginners are welcome. Our 200-hour TTC is suitable for all levels and provides step-by-step guidance. 


     Our school is located in the beautiful coastal town of Varkala, Kerala, close to the beach and nature. 


     You can book your spot by contacting us through our website or WhatsApp. A small deposit may be required to confirm.
